The further along this gets, the less I'm getting it. The characters just don't make sense.

Seriously, the male narrator sounds like a stoner, Tommy Chong almost. Not a fancy doctor from a distinguished family.

And now there’s a lot more cussing than she started with.

Ok. Did she have babies or just one daughter? And a twin sister? I’m so confused. And then there is the religious bits. The cover does not fit this one at all.

Maybe a little too much medical jargon, and the amount of talk about lots of blood seems over the top or weird. Story is good still though.
