The further along this gets, the less I'm getting it. The characters just don't make sense.

I figured his family had done something like that. But all it would take is just one of them trying to actually accuse the other to clear things up.

Seriously, the male narrator sounds like a stoner, Tommy Chong almost. Not a fancy doctor from a distinguished family.

And is the other name Romalia? And Jamie? Really?

And now there’s a lot more cussing than she started with.

Ok. Did she have babies or just one daughter? And a twin sister? I’m so confused. And then there is the religious bits. The cover does not fit this one at all.

Maybe a little too much medical jargon, and the amount of talk about lots of blood seems over the top or weird. Story is good still though.
