I'm not sure where this is going, but he can't even manage to be home for your birthday and he's been gone for a couple of weeks already? At this point I have no sympathy for Jacqueline. None whatsoever. In any other case I'd say Brad is being a jerk, but she walked right into that all on her own. Yet she's still clinging to hope. Wake up sister!!

Ugh! I feel the overwhelming need to slap a fictional character right now. Girlfriend for almost a year? You're hung up on a proposal and you haven't even been dating a whole year?!? Get a grip Jacqueline. Listen to reality instead of living in fantasy land. He does not want what you do; at least not right now.
