She just keeps rambling on about the same things. I'm skimming at this point. But I am going to give it to my sisterinlaw because she's in a different place than I am and this book might help her.

This lady should go to therapy.

She spends so much time saying she's angry at god and hates the church and the bible feels dead and it's just like... why are you even still Christian?

I do like her writing voice.

I relate a lot to her confusion on just being married and the extreme change women are expected to make.

Such a weird way to look at the world...

I get that she's found hope in her new found way of looking at things, but she can't claim that this is what the bible says, or what Christianity teaches. This is something entirely different.

God is just a safety blanket.

this women seems pretty confused as to what christanity is. but then that's christians for you. everyone has their own interpretation of what's going on.

rereading this book to see if it would be a good book to give to my sister-in-law. I'm going to do my best to be fair to this book.
