Uh, sorry guys. I haven't added books to GR in months and am doing that now in bulk. Sorry for spamming you. It seems that unchecking the "Add to update feed" checkbox doesn't work properly.

That checkbox doesn't prevent updates from showing up to app users, is my understanding. Then once an app user "likes" something, it gets into everyone's feed. It's okay, I don't think anyone minds seeing what you've been up to. :)
