"Every Exquisite Thing" was way better than the previous story. It had lovable characters (I fell in love with Anna in just 60 pages) and, for a short story, also an interesting plot. This story would get 5 stars from me, while the previous one would only get 3, if I'm feeling generous. So far this book has been a rollercoaster of ratings for me, but I hope the coming stories are going to be more like this one.

"Forever Fallen" was, like the previous story, basically just a teaser for The Wicked Powers. But it definitely sold the idea of "Jace from Thule" to me, because I was skeptical about that at first. 4 stars for this story.

I absolutely love Ty, so just reading about him makes me give "The Lost World" 4.5 stars. This story also really hyped me up for The Wicked Powers (which is also a little sad because I don't think she even started writing that one).

"Through Blood, through Fire" closed the plot point that was missing from the end of Lady Midnight. And I understand why it wasn't placed there, because it would have given a lot away, but I kind of wished I'd read it then because it would have given me an impression of Kit's parents. And I always wondered how Jem and Tessa found Kit. 4 stars for this story.

I absolutely LOVED "The Land I Lost". To be honest, I expected Rafaels initial reaction to Alec to be a little bit different, but I definetely liked how it turned out. Somehow I'd like to read more about a Jem-Tessa-Alec-Lily (and -Magnus) investigation team for corrupt Shadowhunters. Lily mostly because I, like Tessa, can't get enough of her name-dropping.

Finally the humour is back. Raphael is that kind of character who is so unfunny, that it's funny again. "Son of the Dawn" was a cute story and I loved that it was partly from Isabelle's POV. I'd give it 4 stars.

"The Wicked Ones" is rather good at making one understand why Celine acted like she did. Unfortunately, Celine isn't very likeable or charismatic, so I didn't really care for her or her story. The ending with Valentine was rather good, though. I'd give the story 3.5 stars.

"A Deeper Love" was basically just a filler continuation of the filler story before. But this time it had Catarina, Jessa and a "race against the clock" to save somebodies life, which was kind of suspense-inducing. So I'm giving it 4 stars, despite not really having a plot.

"Learn about Loss" was not (unfortunately) about Catarina, as I first thought. It felt like a filler story for the whole Lost Herondale Arch to me, so I guess it was okay. Not bad, but also not really good. I'd give it 3 or 3.5 stars. I've seen that the next story at least features Catarina, so since I was looking forward for her in this, I'm delighted. Honestly I'd love a whole book just about Catarina.
