Listening to this in audio, got a bunch of random audiobooks for cardio.
The first part ('before') dragged on. I thought it would be shorter just to show us who the character is (lots of books like this), and felt like it could've been cut in two. Too much detail, and the MC is too much, almost robotic. But the writing is okay, and I want to see where it goes now that she's grown up.

Judging by how detailed and thoughtful the beginning was, I didn't expect this book to end up being just another stupid romance cliche.
Sadly, it is. All about the sex in an instant. Might give it a couple more chapters, but that's it.
