I appreciate getting the scoop on how these stories (Vietnam atrocities as My Lai massacre, CIA assassination as Allende,..., +domestic wire-tapping, and Watergate + that Nixon hit his wife, the latte never published before) were broken by Hersh.

This is good. But hard not to be sad & despairing at the details of ugly history I’d only heard of topically + the depraved nature of US agencies which lie & advance horrors (CBW, Vietnam). Maybe if things were radically different now it’d be easier but decades string together the same old power players begetting new one + new lies & horrors. Except....where are the Seymour Hersh’s of today?
