The differences between the book and the TV series stand out in these early exchanges. Some changes have been made purely because of social changes in our own world-view and some of the others for dramatic purposes.
But it is, unlike some adaptations, identifiable as the source for the said serial.
The book is an engaging and enjoyable read so far.
