There are 21 short stories in this book from the early years of the pulp magazines. Believe I just concluded story number 15. Basically I am not a fan of the short story, preferring a long detailed novel. However as each story has a historical introduction by Peter Haining, and the stories are a nice sampling of material from the early pulp era, am enjoying it.
