Definitely stalled out on this despite it being right up my alley in theory, gonna put it aside for now and try again later

so many good and intense elements so far (sign language! bear shifter! trauma! gay/nb romance!) and also i am having a really really hard time following the plot/world-building and character motivations, which is kinda a problem bc it's v plot heavy. not sure if it's me being v brains at the moment or not haha, contemplating coming back when i'm in a different mood plotwise and seeing if it makes more sense then
