After finishing The Wicked King I needed a new book to get into, and I figured I'd finally try this series out. I've heard mostly bad things about this first book so I have quite low expectations, and so far its just as mediocre as I thought it would be.

Picked this back up after weeks of sitting untouched and I'm actually enjoying it a lot more. Its nice to just read some fluffy ya as a bit of a palate cleanser between bigger books.
