The knowledge of greatness often blinds. On reaching a measure of public stature, we often tend to strut with pride.

Jesus on the other hand, knew who He was. He knew the immensity of His power & authority...He could have boasted to His disciples. But He did not. Instead, He took the role of a servant...

True leadership is not achieved by subjecting others to our control but in giving ourselves in service to them.

"We may be down in the dumps now, but if we put our trust in God, He has His way of lifting us up. When we are in the Lord's hands, beauty comes out of ashes, a flower blooms through a crevice, darkness flees with the silver of light in the dawn.

These lines from the book is a timely read. ❤️😌

"In the Kingdom of God,...Power and greatness are shown by how one reduces himself/herself to serve others. The question is not 'What service can I get?' but 'What service can I give?' Where one sits does not matter - but mostly if one renders service to others, he is found among who he serves."
