I think Emma's parent are very suspicious. They obviously knew about Thomas Quinn Healy, Emma's dead twin;however, they decided to stay silent and not speak about it. This makes me wonder about Thomas' death. I think Emma's parents had something to do with their son's death making them to not speak about him for fifteen years. If Emma did not see his birth certificate in the attic it would have been a secret forever.
