The problem with this book is that I can put it down. And since I usually have several books going, this one ends up on the back burner. It's a good story, but it doesn't transport me. I'm always aware I'm reading a book rather than being lost in the story.

I finished book one last night. I like the characters, and many aspects of the story. However I am hoping the story gets more flushed out as it continues. Book one was mostly just a series of battle scenes, and at times it felt a bit monotonous.
