This book has a curious way of making me reconsider decisions, opinions, and my life in general. Damon, I think, is going to be one of those characters that is so real, so very real, that I am going to remember him forever. This book makes me very reflective.

Sam just got shot. Dev is in a coma after Damon convinced him not to desert and he feels it's his fault. The reality and brutality of war is setting in. Even Damon isn't immune to bullets.

Progress a little hindered by Honors History and the required reading, but I hope to finish that soon and get back onto this one. I love it; it's awesome.
