I really like this author's voice; it's direct, friendly, and raw. Also, the fact that his homosexuality isn't at the forefront of this book makes it even more enjoyable, in my opinion. What I mean is: I don't mind his sexuality (heck, I'm lesbian!) but I love how this books centers about the boat, the trip he made in it and what it meant meeting all these different people. That's what I mean! And nice cover!
