Isadora is plain annoying. Doesn’t know what she wants and when everything she believes she wants is in front of her she doesn’t take it. Very annoying character.

I can how this was a shocking book in the time it was written. The fantasies and encounters she has are ok, but what I’m loving is her describing what is expected of a woman. This book was written in the early 70s and as much as we have changed and realized there’s more to a woman than just being a wife and mother, some things she says still apply today.
