Really didn't expect that he's the killer. He seemed very nice.

I'm feeling kind of conflicted. What he's done is sick, but he's so pitiful at the same time. Living like that for 40 years with his mother before she just snapped is unimaginable.

Ugh, I don't like how Eve's treating Rudy as a monster, and how she tries to offer Piper "help" by referring her to a psychiatrist, thinking that she's simply being controlled by Rudy. I do kind of understand why she thinks so, but it doesn't make me any less bit annoyed at her.

Also, can I just mention how incredibly sensitive these people can be? People are just snapping at each other everywhere

This murderer is such a sicko. Doing it on both ends and choosing no gender. I wonder if his character has already been revealed in the book because so far, I can’t imagine any of them being the murderer.

So far, many of the cases have been about sexual assault, which I guess is to further the plot regarding Eve’s past. It’s still kind of uncomfortable to read sometimes. This one was one of the more uncomfortable ones for me, alongside the previous novel about the cult.
