In the first book, Locked Up by Elle Christensen, the heroine Kaia meets the hero Ewan when he arrests her for being drunk (not her friends, just her). He makes a deal with her in this inebriated state; he won't charge her if she goes home with him to sleep it off. She's going to stay in the guest room, I guess that's supposed to make it not *that bad*, but it's still bad.
