Hazel reminds me of Jude in The Cruel Prince, another book by Holly Black. Both are stubborn and sword-fighters. They're influenced by faeries, but Hazel's understanding is much different. Jude connects with them on a deeper level, because she lives there, but Hazel sees them as a slight threat. Faeries in both books seem similar, the same charms work against them and they do things they would do in The Cruel Prince.

This book is another great one. Lots of twist ensure that I will keep turning the pages until the end, when I don't want the end to come.

This book, another by an author I enjoy (Holly Black), continues to delight me. I'm wondering what Hazel's going to find if- hopefully when- she goes into the faerie world. And this sword... I don't think the prince took it OR the monster in the woods. Who did?
