i'm not really feeling the found family dynamic in this one, sadly. the one in skin deep was done much more to my tastes. it's lovely, no doubt here, but i'm not nearly as invested

take a shot every time someone grins. bonus points if it's whyn.

there's these small lines and comments throughout this book that i'm really unhappy with, like for example "no boy wanted to be called cute to his face". how do you know that, merry? let boys be cute dammit

that's just what i thought! still, why not use a 'they'

merry discovering she can have fun with her wheelchair is the wholesome content i never knew i needed until i read it. so!! pure!!

anwen wrote her book! and it became widely-known! my heart is full (now this makes me happy i read skin deep first)
