'Whoever saves one life, saves the world entire.' This message was carved on to Oskar Schindler's list, when he was leaving the Jewish workers after the war. This is the most classic quote from the book and the movie, because, it is such an emotional moment for Oskar Schindler. For all Oskar had did, he said he "didn't do enough." But he did so much, and that is why, he will be remembered forever.

Schindler's List is telling readers that sometimes in life, small actions of altruism can save lives. For example, Oskar Schindler's assistant Itzhak Stern recommends that Jews are the cheapest workers. Although Schindler knows that Jews are not good labor workers, he still hires them, and eventually saves them from the terrible camp of Auschwitz. On the surface, Oskar is just hiring, but he is actually saving lives.
