For me to get into a reading spell, I have to get a few pages in, and even then sometimes I'm not captivated. However, I get into the mid part of this book, and I start turning page after page. Sentences jump out in their beauty.
The movie and it's imagery although beautiful and add to the conceptualizing of moments in the novel, haunt me as my brain compares the book to the motion picture. its a blessing & curse..
