This book has short stories about different subjects. One of the stories that I had read so far was about a dad that had cancer, and when he died he told his two daughters and wife to make a hair salon so the kids can get a little help for money when they move to college.

This book was really good. I liked how each chapter was a different story and a new main idea. I would recommend this book to people who like mysteries, and like new things every chapter.

The part where I stopped was when Ms. Baker and her boyfriend are poor and right now they are having a baby. The court and government will not give any money to them for the baby to survive.
