SPOILER: I have questions. I understand the suspense of disbelief for the sake of a story, but after 4 assassination attempts in the palace, how is literally everyone not on the highest alert possible? And why doesn't the Emperor seem to care about his daughter?
Also, I try not to be harsh on books, but the over sexualization is really awkward. (Pages 143 & 144 for example).
