Funny how I remembered them waking Jadis up, and the things she did in London, yet somehow forgot all the details about Charn, including the fact that Jadis had single-handedly destroyed that world (and blamed her sister for pushing her to it.) She really was a nasty one, even before she was called the White Witch.
Also, wow, I'm reading this really fast! (For me, anyway. :P)

Just gonna do a little reread to remind myself that this isn't set in the 1950's and Aslan did not emo-screamo Narnia into existence with a rendition of "Stairway to Heaven."

The illustration of Uncle Albert being planted like a tree is priceless. XD

My fellow Goldstone Wood Imps, I know you're out there, and I have a question: Is the wood between in this book where Anne Elisabeth Stengl got the idea for the wood between in the Tales of Goldstone Wood books??? (And if it is, yes, I know it took me way too long to make the connection.) :P
Also, I think the wood between sparks my imagination more now as an adult than it did when I was a kid!

How long has it been since I last read Narnia in physical form? Middle school? I listened to most of the series via Focus on the Family's dramatized audio CDs in late high school or early college, but found out later that those may have been abridged. Other than remembering certain key details, it's almost like I'm reading this for the first time. I forgot how charming the writing style is. :)
