After a few friends picked up WoT and I talked about it so much with them, there is just no way around a re-read now. See you in a year, I guess... :)

I do not have enough commutes for this book. Only listening to it while commuting is beginning to get painful. I want to know what happens next. Although some parts of the book are predictable, I am still enjoying it way more than I would have thought after the first few chapters.

Beginning to really like the book. Looking forward to every excuse I have to turn on my audiobook.

By modern standards, this is still generic fantasy. But you really can't apply modern standards on the books that founded those standards 20 years ago. I like it.

This book is a prime example of high fantasy (Which is not a bad thing). Sadly, it has so far been pretty predictable, but whatever. I'll keep listening, the series still has ample time to surprise me, I guess.

Listening to the audiobooks. Voice is a bit unusual, and the reader is sometimes a little too fast, but I enjoy it anyway. This Series will probably occupy my commutes for the next months.
