This is the most intriguingly bizarre book I have ever encountered. Billed as being of the horror genre, that categorization so far seems a distant second to the way Danielewski layers in the metafiction and warps and interlaces a dual narrative (more than dual, perhaps). Just the damndest book I ever did encounter.
