Mickey comes home to see caitlin relaxing in the hammock they have in their back yard. Mickey asks where his mom is at, she says that they went to the store to gets some stuff they thought was good for her. Mickey offers to cook up breakfast. Inside they both are eating and she asks about his father which he reply to her that he died in his job

Caitlin wakes up from her nap and mickey comes in too the room telling her that there are clothes in the closet that could fit her and that his mom told her take as much as she liked. Mickey tell a big lie saying he is the father and signs papers to take care of beth, After that he goes to his house to tell his family about the big news and most of them don't receive it in a positive way, one of Micky's sisters even gets mad at the fact that he adopted the little girl. The next day he gets good news from the doctor that beth is good and that he could go and carry her, Then Caitlin woke up

. While Micky saw that Caitlin was lying in the bed Caitlin was actually hearing everything Micky was saying, How beth was so cut and how she was waiting to see her mother. As he was about to leave he gave Caitlin a kiss and a man came in with a suitcase and a coat. He told him that he was here to talk about beth and to see how she would turn out to be with. The next day when he went to the clinic he was there to check up on the baby who now was named Beth and on Caitlin.
