What the @#$!! is going on with this book...!?! This is the debut of an unknown author publishing an unknown book about the worst, scummiest and most awful protagonist ever, doing horrible things... And I CAN'T stop reading! It's awesome! How can an inexperienced author write so smoothly, fluently, effortlessly, giving as much detail as is always needed ? I didn't expect to like it... but I love it!

I have to admit that during the middle part, the novel falls a little flat compared to the first third. I think while there's urgency, there's also repetition. The extra characters introduced are not super interesting and I don't agree with the development of the Stockholm syndrome. But, I feel that there's a plot-twist and pace-change coming up in the next chapter so I'm excited!
