I've only read the Prologue and even that was done with wide eyes and an open mouth. Which is crazy! I've heard about this type of violence every year of my life, but I guess it's not a bad thing that it still shocks me. I don't think I would like the person who didn't have an extreme emotional response after reading something like this. I never want to become that desensitized.
