91: the example of pathos is when he states that all his wife sleeps next to the shade of a dead man every night. This example makes you feel worried for his relationship with his wife.

The conflict of the story is that during their last test they couldn’t move the man when he got shot. They worked on plenty of things to move him and the sergeant was yelling at him to keep him moving.
