I'm not even half way through this book and I'm thinking about giving up. The characters are one dimensional cookie cutter "I'm not like other people!" stereotypes, there's no ambience to speak of, the descriptions are rudimentary at best, and thus far the story has taken the "tell don't show" approach. I don't know how much more of this I'm willing to struggle through.
