The whole rescue mission in Somalia was very reminiscent of Black Hawk Down. The main villain is horribly cruel. The setting and the political situation in South East Asia feels real and present day. The author obviously has little respect for Liberals and takes pleasure in making them suffer. This book is bloody and crude. It's almost a blend of military action torture porn. Surprisingly, I am kind of enjoying it.
