I am not quite certain what's going on anymore, but it's way better than the first two books anyway. I think. I still have problems with the main chararacter turned serial killer and the evil space muslisms, but I've read far enough to want to know how the heck this is going to end.

This is unexpectedly... good. I'm not sure what is going on, except that I'm finally reading something I expected from Morgan. The prose is fine, the characters at least memorable, the world feels tangible, and I haven't encountered a single mind-boggling sex scene yet. What is going on here? Am I about to be horribly disappointed when I turn the page? Can it be that for once my bloody-mindedness will be rewarded?
