Ken Original-spelling edition? Does that mean Middle English?

John Hughes It does. Loved it for the first 100pages or so. Wondering now, 250pages in with 500 to go, whether it was foolish. The end notes are fantastic though.

Ken Weird. It's Middle English, is all. Kind of like calling a "used car" a "pre-owned car" or something to make the book appear unique when it's just another original (as in ME) edition of Chaucer's work.

How many of us had to declaim the first lines of the Prologue in Middle English? Look at the sea of hands!
