Orsolya How is this fairing so far?

Jemidar A bit like watching paint dry! I don't know how, but Wilson has managed to make this of all subjects boring.

Orsolya Oh nooooooooooooo. :( Darn. This is on my list.

Misfit I was eyeing this until I looked at the reviews.

Elysium I gave up on this one. It was just so very boring.

Yikes, that slow eh? I have so little patience anymore that I start getting grumpy when nothing happens.

Believe me, I've considered it. Am trying to push through to the end though.

See, that's the thing, it should be interesting because there's plenty happening and I'm finding stuff I didn't already know. Wilson reminds me very much of a history lecturer I had once who could take anything (especially subjects I loved!) and make them boring. I think it's all in the presentation--he has the same droning tone. LOL.

I know, it looks so good. The titles promises lots but sadly it doesn't deliver :-(.

Crap. Do you think it is okay if one merely scan it?

Jemidar Scans, as in skim read?

message 10: by Orsolya (new) - added it

Orsolya Oops I meant to say scan and yes, as in: skim.

Jemidar Not really sure as I'm not a skim reader. It is quite dense in places.

Orsolya I'll just have to try the book and see how it goes. Bummer that it isn't great since, as you said, it is terrific subject matter.
