I enjoy the idea of this book, but I love fantasy, sci-fi, and horror.
A few problems: I’ve read that Sybil herself admitted that she made up her multiple personalities. Second, the author uses tons of examples of criminals hearing voices as proof of possessions, but never includes cases where they didn’t hear voices. Third, we do not want to bring back exorcism as the treatment for mental illness.

Since this book was sitting on the same shelf as The Amityville Horror, in the Nonfiction section... I’m going to pretend that it is really dark fantasy/light horror presented as a scientific field guide.
