Robertson's book works best when she's not pontificating about this/that theorist and when she focuses on recounting the experiences of either Baudelaire or herself (obviously the influences of this/that theorist exists throughout the book, but the namedropping of theorists and theories is a bit much -- rather than some poet dilettante try to explain Debord to me I'm probably better off just reading Debord again)
