It is slowly starting to lose me...
I loved the hard realism of the opening, but now it is slowly become more trademark-Gaiman wacky, mythical and magical. I also have no idea what's going on or what the plot is going to be for the next 600 pages.

80 pages in and this is already my favorite Neil Gaiman book. It is a lot more serious, dramatic and mature than anything else he has written, and I am all on board. Totally hooked and intrigued right now, and eager to learn what will happen next.
