"I'm adding it to the list [...] One of these days we'll have you pretty well summed up."
Jack tried not to smile. "There's a list?"
"Yep."
"What else is on the list?"
"Don't you wish you knew?"
"There's no list."
"No?"
"You wouldn't risk it."
"You have so little confidence in my counter Intel abilities."
Druce and Logan, guys. They're just too cute.
Also, Jack running up a building deserves 5 stars in itself.

So. When I read this the first time, I was used to flowery language and an excess of words in prose. Now I see how carefully every word was chosen, how much thought went into each sentence. It's funny how time and exposure can drastically change one's perception of aspects of story craft.
Also, Logan's strength and resilience during her training gives me life. And that "meet cute" (or meet violent?) with Druce XD

This is one of those books that gets better every time I read it. Wow. That opening scene makes me fall in love with Logan's determination all over again.

Yes, this will be my fourth time reading this book. Yes, I still have unread books gathering dust on my shelf.
Really, I just need the comfort of Jack's courage right now.
