Hey Friends. Author, Pamela Clare, has been sick -- prob w/ COVID-19 based on symptoms but can't get tested -- and that's slowing down her ability to get her next book out. She's an indy so that's a very big deal when it happens. If you're looking for something new to read, maybe think about trying her out so she can make a little money while she's laid up. Her romantic suspense books are the best in the genre, IMO.

Aly Heard about it on her Facebook page last week😬. She's one tough lady! I agree with you she's one of the best! I already read all her books except for the new spin off series. I'm gonna buy it and probably her historical series that I don't already have at home.

Erika ♥OwlwaysReading♥ This is a great post, Beanbag! Will do! I hope more people "like" it so gets shared.

Any books specifically you would suggest?

Beanbag Love There are lots of good ones, Erika. Her I-Team series is sort of her cornerstone and characters cross over into her Colorado High Country and Cobra Elite series.

With the I-Team, I didn't really get into it, though until book 3, Unlawful Contact Unlawful Contact (I-Team, #3) by Pamela Clare . That's just a fantastic romantic suspense. And book four, Naked Edge Naked Edge (I-Team, #4) by Pamela Clare , well ... let me just say that Gabe is mine. All the books can be read as stand alones and they're all good, IMO. And the full cast novella, Dead by Midnight, Dead By Midnight An I-Team Christmas (I-Team #7.5) by Pamela Clare is a tour de force.

The thing with the I-Team, though, is that she was published by Penguin at the time and the books are typically $7.99. A little pricey, but I think they're totally worth it. One of my auto buy series and I've become cheap as hell.

Once you get to Colorado High Country, it's indy and they're cheaper. These also can be read as stand alone. Except for the big cast novella, Chasing Fire Chasing Fire (Colorado High Country, #7; I-Team, #9) by Pamela Clare that has a bunch of characters. That's better enjoyed after you've read I-Team and CHC. I really loved book 2, Slow Burn Slow Burn (Colorado High Country #2) by Pamela Clare and book 3, Falling Hard Falling Hard (Colorado High Country, #3) by Pamela Clare in CHC. But they're all good.

I have to stop writing now or I'll recommend every book one by one. LOL! Enjoy!

Yikes. A little bit.. for an ebook. 😅

TY for the suggestions and advice. I have no problem reading out of order in a series as long as they can be read as stand alones. I think I'm going to go with Naked Edge (I-Team, #4) by Pamela Clare , and see how it goes. 😉
