As usual I am not sure what page I am on. The books I read are usually in another room and I forget to check the page number. Anyway this the third of a trilogy. Very good writing and rather dark. It's been a while since I read the first two.
So this picks up exactly where the second one left off. There is a bit of a mystery and a couple of twists. But also straight forward.

It ended not quite as one might hope in one way, a surprise too. But still over all a solid story and good writing.
If you do not mind dark worlds, I recommend this trilogy-very well done.

There have been twists and whoa moments. A very dark world but Saintcrow knows how to write. Unwinter has a plan and Gallow is in the middle of it. He now has someone helping him. Two actually. One needs Gallows help but other than that may not like Gallows. The guy is one of Summer's knights after all.
I want to keep reading to see what the plan is.
