Okay SURVEY time! Do you read the PROLOGUE of a book before starting the book?
Regardless of the answer tell me why?
Personally it depends. Sometimes the prologue makes for a slow start to the book, other times it is an absolute must! If I ever feel confused or lost in a book I sometimes ever go back to the prologue to read and see what I maybe missed.

I just read the bird and the sword by Amy Harmon. I must have gone back to the prologue throughout about 6 times. I love it when there’s clues there that only make sense the more you read of the book.

Always. I’m orderly like that. I don’t like to read a series out of order, either. I’ve done it, but I’ll always go back to the first book if given the chance. 😁
