Okay, main story ends soon than expected because there is a second story. But the main one--They finally figure out who done it and why after false leads and other cases going with other detectives. Things do not end well for one of them-emotionally.

Okay, finished both tales. The second was interesting and a good mystery. It explains some stuff that was in the main story. If you like a good, well written fantasy Mystery read this. Even though part of a series you can start with this one. Good characters good descriptions.
Not the best writing, but most defiantly a worthy read. Not a lot of fighting but mysteries do not need that.

Should have done this one more. But they solve one crime but not the murder. Too many unknowns

Second book in a series. I read the first many years ago and hoped they would be more. There are, which I found recently. Medieval policing and detecting as in detectives finding murderers. Good writing some action and suspense.
