I’ve been reading this for six months. Trying hard to not abandon it.

Two things are really getting to me now on opening to chapter 39. One, the writing style is far better suited to a short story. It didn’t drag me down until chapter 12 or so. And I had to switch to reading a chapter at most at a time to tolerate it.

Picking it up again today I got jarred by a jumping ahead in time that doesn’t belong.
