er there's suddenly completely new characters, what did I miss?
Did the two authors writing this ever actually agree where the story was going? Or even the genre.
DNF looking likely, I can't bring myself to continue, I may skim the rest tomorrow or I may paint my radiators, whichever seems more fun.

The muurderer is so obvious there might as well be flashing neon arrows.
It's all kinda tedious.

The vibe is just completely off with this book.
The characters have potential as does the mystery, it should work, but feels awkward.

The constant quips and random sexual thoughts threaded through every situation is kinda uncomfortable. It's like one author was writing a serious murder mystery while the other was doing a parody voice-over.
The current interview is completely cringeworthy.
