I tried giving this author the benefit of the doubt, because I have had huge trouble w/ her writing (poorly edited, mistakes regarding Regency period, customs & protocol, plus childlike plots and character responses that are cartoonish and an insult to Miss Austen herself). I just came so far before I was reminded of *why* I usually skim this author off from my reading pile. I will try to pull through!
