It is sad to read about how our systems aren't properly designed and how, if pushed into the system, you are constantly pulled deeper and deeper into it--criminalized ubiquitously.

Disadvantaged people try, they really do, but the system is too quick and too strong to oppress them down immediately.

It feels like there is no escape. Situations described sound hopeless and pointless endeavors.
